Rachel Cropper-Mawer is a dispute resolution Partner in our London Minster Court office.
Rachel specialises in commercial litigation, arbitration, investigations and anti-corruption advisory work across a wide range of sectors and often involving international companies. Rachel's work has also involved dealing with compliance and regulatory issues in multiple jurisdictions both representing clients and, during her time in-house, was employed by large corporates to protect their compliance and reputational risks.
She has experience of arbitrating and litigating complex commercial matters pertaining to commodities, insurance, financial services, and oil and gas sectors. Rachel is particularly focused on Fraud and Anti-Corruption, having also worked closely with the SFO on behalf of clients on implementation and application of the Bribery Act 2010 and she advises clients on their anti-corruption programmes. She has represented corporates and individuals in relation to regulatory investigations and reporting.
Rachel's in-house experience in senior management and leadership roles in an Oil Major and a top three global insurance brokerage gives her a unique insight into what clients want. She has had secondments to the FCA Enforcement Team and a reinsurance company in Germany.
Rachel is a regular speaker at C5 and PLC events.
Rachel qualified in 2001 and joined DAC Beachcroft in 2016.
