Today marks the public launch of our Data Breach Response Planner following 18 months of development, capturing over 20 years of collective breach experience into a single software-as-a-service offering.

If you want to see what it is, head straight over to www.dacbeachcroft.com/breachresponseplanner and check out the introductory video.

Having advised clients of all sizes and from all sectors on their data breach response plans, we came to realise that not all clients had the budgets to ensure that their plans were bespoke to their organisation. We also realised that the plans would be out of date as soon as a incident team member moved role or a new person joined.

We set out to develop a product that would automatically take the client through each step of the breach planning process: identifying their internal team, external advisers, setting protocols, completing their plan and setting revision dates.

We also made sure that the product was dynamic: acting as a central portal capturing contact details of the team and advisers, with any changes to the plan instantly accessible by all, on any device at any time. Long gone are the days of the static plan buried somewhere on the office sharepoint that hasn't been looked at for three years!

And finally for those organisations that simply have not got around to writing their plan, we included default content to click and go. We also included helpful guidance on GDPR notification thresholds and incident classification.

We did all this at a price point that is affordable for all: £2,500 + VAT per year.

If you do one thing today, upgrade from static to dynamic!
